Invisible Threats

information design / print / editorial

How much do we truly know about the dangers of microplastics? Most scientists agree: there are still many gaps in our understanding. However, recent discoveries are raising alarm about their severe impacts on both the environment and human health.

This project aims to spotlight the worrying findings about microplastics unveiled in recent scientific studies. Microplastics represent one of the greatest manmade disasters of our time, and I hope to ignite a sense of urgency and anger that could eventually prompt action and change.

The project features several outcomes, including a series of large A2 posters “Chemicals in Plastics”,  one smaller A3 poster “Unseen but Everywhere”  and “Invisible Threats” publication.

“Unseen but Everywhere” poster reveals the alarming reality of microplastic spread, showing the timeline of its ubiquitous presence in our environment, alongside the staggering increase in global plastic production.

Chemicals in Plastics” series is shedding light on the harmful substances present in plastics, their widespread use, and the lack of regulation surrounding them.
