My arrival into the world of design was the result of a
long-ripening dream. Years of experience in marketing communications have
taught me to ask the right questions and deliver meaningful answers relevant to
the target audience. In addition, my lifelong practice of drawing and painting has
cultivated an appreciation for the beauty of everyday things, allowing me to
notice delicate nuances, elegant shapes, and fine textures that I like to incorporate
into my designs using traditional art and craft techniques. As an alumna of the
Postgraduate Diploma programme at the University of the Arts London, I’m
excited to blend these diverse skills into a professional design practice.
I believe visual design is the most powerful means of communication and
storytelling, capable of stirring our emotions, memories, intuition, and
rational thinking alike. I am fascinated by its ability to work on multiple
levels, where a simple, gripping entry point invites exploration of layers of
delightful details and reveals deeper meanings.
I am often drawn to complex subjects, enjoying the challenge of analyzing
and interpreting them with simplicity, clarity, and impact. Therefore, I am
particularly interested in working with information design and data
visualization. My practice and explorations also include motion graphics, editorial and
print communication design.
